Learn How to Invest in Venture Capital for Women

12 - 1pm PST | Second Wednesday of the Month | Zoom | Free

Venture capital is a highly networked male-dominated industry. être Venture Capital connects women to free courses that build their knowledge and confidence as limited partner investors in venture capital funds.

Learn How to Invest in Venture Capital for Women is a free course that explains why women should invest in VC, how to evaluate a fund, and which documents to review before investing. It also covers how a standard VC fund is structured and operates, who qualifies to invest, how an investment thesis matters, how funds target returns, and the fundamentals of capital calls, management fees, and carried interest.

The class is taught by Hillary Talbot, Managing Partner at être Venture Capital, and was developed with her partner, Jenny Kuan, PhD, a professor of economics and entrepreneurship at the College of Business at California State University Monterey Bay.

The class is held the second Wednesday of the month.
